Year   January 2026 - March 2026
Context

Alongside contributing to the transition from Adobe XD to Figma and helping build a new design system, I was given ownership of designing a new feature for an upcoming version of the product.
Challenge

The feature requirements were fragmented across multiple user stories, without a clear end-to-end vision. One of the main challenges was to:
  • Consolidate scattered information
  • Understand the complete user journey
  • Translate technical requirements into a coherent and usable experience

Process

- Structuring the problem
I started by gathering all the existing user stories and organizing them into a FigJam flow, mapping:
  • User journeys
  • System interactions
  • Edge cases and error scenarios
This process helped uncover gaps and inconsistencies, allowing me to raise important questions early with the Product Owner.

- Defining the Experience
In close collaboration with the Product Owner:
  • We clarified the full feature scope
  • Defined user flows and key interactions
  • Identified user pain points and constraints
  • Aligned on design decisions before moving into UI

    - Design & Iteration
    I developed:
    • Low-fidelity wireframes to validate structure and flow
    • High-fidelity screens covering all states (success, error, feedback)
    • Edge cases and error scenarios
    • Complete interaction flows and UI specifications
Throughout this phase, I worked in constant alignment with both product and development teams to ensure feasibility and consistency.

    - Handoff & Implementation
    • Delivered a complete design handoff in Figma
    • Ensured all components followed the evolving design system
    • Supported developers during implementation with continuous follow-up and clarification

    Challenge
At the end of the project I was able to create:
    • A fully designed feature currently in development
    • Improved alignment between product, design, and engineering
    • Stronger design system foundations for future scalability
